Tony Sun earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Nanyang Technological University and a master's degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell University. His practical expertise in financial derivatives was developed over a five-year period on the G10 FX options trading desk at Citi. Following his role at Citi, Tony transitioned into the cryptocurrency domain, co-founding Altonomy. Over four years there, he led a trading desk that managed over $20 billion in OTC trading volume and oversaw more than 200 market-making projects. Currently, as the co-founder and COO of Range Protocol, Tony applies his knowledge of both fields to facilitate the convergence of traditional finance and defi, focusing on building the Universal On-chain Asset Management Platform covering all defi asset classes, in a fully non-custodial, trustless manner.
